About the Trip
In the autumn of 2026, we will return to Japan for the fifth time to explore one of Asia's most unique countries together. Throughout our trip, a local guide who speaks Japanese and Hungarian will assist the group, allowing us to not only discover the sights but also gain insight into the hidden stories of Japanese culture and daily life.
During our adventure, we will discover the most beautiful locations in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and the Mount Fuji region. We will visit, among other places, the Shibuya district, the Meiji Jingu and Senso-ji temples, the Kiyomizu-dera temple, the Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Arashiyama bamboo forest, Nijo Castle, and the famous Nara Park, where free-roaming deer will greet us.
During the week, we will get to know Japan's rich cultural heritage, taste the specialties of local gastronomy, and gain experiences that go far beyond a traditional tour.
A special feature of our trip is that you will have the opportunity to experience the world of Japanese Buddhism firsthand. Everything you want to know about Buddhist traditions, ceremonies, and living practice will be made clear by a practicing Buddhist tour guide who has spent a long time in Japanese monasteries, actively participating in monastic life and traditional rituals. Thanks to this, you will not only get to know Japan but also gain an authentic insight into its deeper cultural and spiritual heritage.
Discover Japan with us, get to know a fascinating culture, make new friends, and be part of a lifelong Asian adventure!
