It is a constant quest of human life to achieve balance.
We need to be centred, focused. Then we can live a full life.
And yoga helps you to master your energies and find balance.
When I started doing yoga, I gradually became immersed in the fact that it's not just a
"sport that maintains my body", but also my mind and my soul.
I really needed this. So I have incorporated all the trappings of a yogic lifestyle into my days, into my life, from time to time.
In the full practice of yoga, respect your limits and feel today how far you can go.
Don't be violent and always keep ahimsa in mind.
For yourself and for the world around you.
Be tolerant of yourself, we can be.
We live fast-paced lives, with lots of stimuli and expectations.
But we must recognise that putting ourselves first is not selfish.
Even if you have a family, children,
if you also work.
If you want to prove yourself to yourself and the world around you.
Make your career important and find your dhrama.
But don't let that put out the fire inside you.
When you feel the need to prove yourself, look at who you are really trying to prove yourself to.
Notice whether you are serving yourself or others.
You're not being selfish if you unwrap the chocolate and eat it alone.
You are not selfish if you give yourself 15 minutes and eat your lunch alone in silence.
You are not selfish if you go for a walk alone.
You are not selfish if you go to practice twice a week.
You are not selfish if you recognize you are leaving what no longer serves you.
But you harm yourself and the world around you if you don't live your own life, but that of others.
Respect your limits and see how far you have to go.
